We will be closed April 3 & 4, 2026 (Friday and Saturday) to allow our staff and volunteers to celebrate Easter weekend.  We will reopen Monday, April 6 at 10am.

Operations:  We are open Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm.  Adoption visits are by appointment-only, based on adoption applications, to allow uninterrupted meet & greet visits and personalized service.  Our adoptable pets may be viewed on our Adopt page.  If we are not busy, we will allow walk-ins to view adoptable animals.

Mission:  The Union County Humane Society promotes the welfare of animals through sheltering and adoption services, basic veterinary, animal care education, and support for development and enforcement of animal abuse laws.
